Local Route Delivery Driver

Lakeland, FL

• Pay: $265.74- $307.97 - Pay is based on the driver's daily route assignment.

• Weekend and holiday work required

• Driver gets 2 consecutive weekdays off

• Avg 10 hour shifts

Work/Life Balance Schedule:

 •          Estimated dispatch times: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm- depending on route assignment.

 •          Home every day, 5-day work week, with 2 consecutive days off.

 •          Availability to work all weekends and holidays.

 •          Touch freight food service delivery to a major convenience store chain

Job Description:

 •          Delivering food to a major convenience store brand with refrigerated trucks (no sales, staging, or merchandising)

 •          Drivers are responsible for loading their own trucks at the start of their shift.

 •          Multi-stop delivery routes 8-20 stops per shift, depending on route assignment.

 •          Paid orientation and training

 •          Weekly pay

Requirements:

 •          Minimum 1 year of DOT verifiable driving experience.

 •          Touch freight delivery experience preferred.

 •          Valid Class A or Class B operator's license

 •          Must be 21 and have a safe driving record.

 •          Ability to load/unload using a hand truck and ramp/lift gate.
