Dispatcher & Local CDL A Route Driver $2,500 bonus

Company has been in business for over 60 years providing fresh, organic, cage-free eggs to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Driver/Dispatch to work in the Stanwood, WA facility.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, which includes:
- Hourly pay $30.55 per hour while dispatching
- Activity based pay averaging $30.55 per hour while driving
- $2,500 sign on bonus: $1,250 paid out after 2 weeks of employment and $1,250 paid out after 6 months
- Typical work week is 50-55 hours per week
- Bi-Weekly paychecks
- Eligibility begins after 31 days of employment

- Wednesday-Sunday work schedule, off Monday/Tuesday:
- Wednesday-Friday will be making CDL A tractor-trailer deliveries
- Saturday-Sunday will be dispatching
- Typical work schedule 6am until work is complete, typically 8-10 hours per day
- Typically within 50 miles of terminal
- No overnights; home every day
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- Training will be Monday-Friday (approximately 2 weeks)
- Training will be split between Everett, WA and Stanwood, WA.
- Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
- Must have 1 year of verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer experience
- Must be flexible with work schedule; days and times. Weekends and Holidays included. Overtime work as requested
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement
- Winter driving experienced required.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
- Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
- Receives, records, and distributes work orders to Truck Drivers upon receipt of Client's purchase orders for delivery of products.
- Schedule delivery to customer sites by utilizing Company Truck Drivers and vehicles as efficiently as possible.
- Take orders and complete loading slip orders.
- Assist Truck Drivers on routing, delivery problems and keeping daily delivery schedules.
- Maintain constant contact with Truck Drivers through radio and/or telephone communications.
- Resolve delivery problems directly with clients with the assistance of the Yard Operations Manager.
- Perform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience with computer skills and navigating Microsoft word, excel and outlooks
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and Customer Service skills.
