Now Hiring: Local Delivery Driver - Charlotte Area - Bread Distribution
Join our team and help distribute fresh bread daily across the Charlotte area. This role involves driving a day cab truck for out-and-back runs, ensuring timely deliveries to Bimbo Bakery depots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a day cab truck with manual transmission.
- Deliver and manually handle bread stacks using a pallet jack, including down stacking at depots.
- Manage an average of 2 stops per trailer load efficiently.
Schedule:
- Start time at 9 AM with 12-hour shifts.
- Must be flexible with schedules including weekends when necessary.
Compensation:
- $26 per hour with overtime after 40 hours weekly.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must be comfortable with touch freight and physical work.
- Experience with manual pallet jacks and delivery operations.
- Must possess a clean driving record and be reliable.
- Open to casual, on-call runs depending on demand.
